What is AI video production?
Film production where the footage is generated by AI models instead of being shot on camera. At Loomcat the craft around the generation stays the same as any production: a written script, an approved storyboard, art direction, edit, sound and grade.
How is a studio different from an AI video creator tool?
AI video creator tools generate clips from a prompt. We use those tools, and are part of the creative partner programs of several of the companies that make them, but the tool is one step in a five step process. The script, the storyboard, the direction and the edit are what turn generated clips into a film that does a job.
What do you need from us to start?
A brief, your brand guidelines and anything that shows the product or the property: drawings, renders, photography, or reference films you like. We turn that into a one sentence logline everyone agrees on before any writing starts.
How long does an AI video take?
It depends on length, the number of cuts and how many rounds the script and storyboard need. With no shoot to schedule, turnaround runs up to three times faster than conventional production. Send the brief and we will give you a timeline, usually within two working days.
Which formats do you deliver?
Every aspect ratio your media plan needs, from 16:9 for screens to 9:16 and 4:5 for social, plus cutdowns. We also hand over the source assets, because they are yours.
